Very good for the price
because of the good review, i ended up buying this cable and im glad i did. cheap price but very good quality. if only it also has the audio cables to go with it, it would have been perfect.

Perfect for the price
These cables are at a great price and you cant tell the difference between these or the expensive monster cables. Highly recommended.

No Complaints
I bought this product to enhance the picture of my HDTV. I have compared it against my HDMI and the pictures look very similar. The picture is far better than with AV cables. It's well worth the money.

Works like it should
Not a whole lot to say about a cable. It works like it's supposed to, and the picture quality looks good.

Will probably work for most applications
I live in an urban environment probably about 20 miles from most of the local TV towers. When you are looking to get over the air digital TV with my proximity to the local TV towers (probably up to 50 miles), this is a cheap way to go without having cable or satellite. I just lay it behind my couch with no set up and it works for the most part. Sometimes I have to stand it up, twirl it around, lean it this way or that way or whatever to get a certain channel to come in. So make sure you give this thing space to move it around. I wouldn't recommend setting this up outside, because you wouldn't be able to move it around as you needed. For over the air digital TV, it's better than smaller rabbit ears type antennas, but is not as good as a larger roof antenna. Remember, with over the air digital TV you just need to get the signal strong enough to get it "over the cliff" to get the "perfect picture" signal in, otherwise you get no signal at all. I get 17 local channels just fine with limited dropout. If a signal drops out, I can move it around a little to get the signal in. Pay for a digital converter with your government coupon and for this antenna, and you've got over the air digital TV that bypasses cable and satellite in most locations.

For the purpose and type of usage I described, I would recommend it.

Great Working Antenna...
I first bought one of these Terk TV55 antennas several years ago from Circuit City. I didn't have a lot of faith that it would work very good, but the salesperson said if I didn't like it that I could return it within 30 days. So I brought it home and hooked it up to my TV right in the house without mounting it, just to see what kind of signal I would get. I figured if it didn't show some promise, I would box it right back up. Well, I couldn't believe how good it worked! I proceeded to mount it up on my roof, and I have great signal strength. I recently purchaced a second one for my sister who just got rid of her satelite dish and has installed a converter box to get the new digital signals. The antenna worked great for her and she is able to get all of the signals in the area. I would recommend this antenna.

Terk TV 55 HDTV Antenna
The Terk TV55 HDTV Antenna is great product. This is my second Antenna. if you want to receive all HDTV channels clear and sharp, then this is the antenna you need to have. They come in different length, you can use it indoor or outdoor. You can hid it under a sofa, bed or hung it anywhere. One antenna is in the Attic the other one is behind the sofa. I highly recommend this antenna.

Not worth it - Too big and no improvement in reception
Don't bother with this unless you plan to mount outside your home. Inside the home, this thing isn't very good and its WAY too big. Explore other options, stay away from this antenna.

WASTING MY MONEY AND TIME
DO NOT BUY THIS ANTENNA, I TRY ALL THREE MY HDTV AND FIND OUT I GET BETTER PICTURES WITHOUT THIS ANTENNA. BIG HEAVY JOK

Great Antenna
This antenna improved my digital reception on all but one of the stations I can receive with my dvd recorder (Toshiba D-R560 with atsc tuner), But, on my other tv with a digital convertor (insignia ns-dxa1)the signal strength nearly doubled. Channels that have been nearly impossible to watch on a windy day are perfect. Even the station my toshiba could not pull in was stronger. It may be the location in my house that is the problem with my dvd recorders reception but even there the Philips High Performance Antenna improved reception. I don't have an hdtv set so I can't say if this antenna is usefull for that purpose, but the local hd channels all had a clear picture.
I would buy this product again.

Decent HDTV antenna
Pulls in good signal reception within 10-15 miles of mounted location. Have difficulty picking up signal plus 20+ miles.

Overall the HD picture quality is good. Comparible to the GE Quantom Indoor Antenna.

One of the better amplified antennas
I'm surprised at the fairly low rating this antenna has gotten. I have gone through a myriad of "rabbit ears" and this antenna is the best I have found so far. I actually have two now for a TV in the living room and one in the bedroom. What I like is that you don't need to re-tune every time you switch to a channel on a different band. No, it doesn't come close to an outdoor antenna mounted high up, but it does pull in all my local channels. Now that there are digital channels available, it also does quite good at pulling them in. I would certainly recommend this antenna to someone who is looking for a indoor solution.

Extremely susceptible to RF interference, poor construction.
This is a review of a few antennas and why I finally settled on the Terk HDTVa. I only tested them with ATSC signals, so I can't comment on any analog reception.

I used this antenna for the longest time, all while being mildly annoyed by it. First off, it pulls in UHF signals like nobody's business, regardless of how it's oriented or where it is placed. It doesn't seem to mind multipath interference at all. VHF stations are a completely different story; it takes hours and hours of messing with these rabbit ears to get any picture, unlike the other two antennas reviewed. And then when you DO finally have the picture, heaven forbid you start to move around the room or even move on the couch, the picture will drop out.
I had this antenna at my old 3rd floor apartment, and tried it in two locations in my new 1st floor apartment. In the living room, I really couldn't pick up anything useful with it, so I moved it to the bedroom and tried with a Pinnacle ATSC tuner. When I finally had the rabbit ears set up right, for some reason I could no longer tune the strongest UHF signal in the area, go figure.
On the third floor, the only thing I had to worry about was the fact that it was VERY susceptible to RF interference. Is anyone in a nearby apartment using a microwave or making a cell phone call? Signal drops out. Get a text message? No TV. On the first floor, you can only sit in certain spots while watching TV or you've got no picture. This was especially annoying since it was being used to record shows while I was away, the signal would get weaker without someone in the room.
It just might have been my unit that was poorly shielded, but the more I turned down the amplification, the less susceptible it was to RF interference. I forgot to add this to my other two reviews, but one of the VHF elements snapped rather easily and the UHF panel seems flimsy.

Terk HDTVa Indoor Amplified High-Definition Antenna for Off-Air HDTV Reception
I just ordered this from Amazon.com and I can say without a doubt that it's the best antenna I've ever used. I'm about 25 miles away from most TV transmitters, and it picks up all of them. I was extremely surprised and very happy to see that it also picked up NBC and FOX, both VHF channels here, at full strength, something I was never able to do with my other two antennas.
I ran a longer coax cable and put the antenna on a window sill, I never have to fiddle with the rabbit ears or move it around to get a clear picture. This is on the window sill of a first floor (3 floor building) apartment that is surrounded by other apartment buildings. Also, the UHF element can be mounted with the blades oriented horizontally or vertically, perfect for putting it on the window sill and still being able to close the blinds.
The only con I can think of is that the VHF elements aren't as freely moved as they are on a lot of other antennas, like on an old pair of bunny ears. Basically, if you want to aim them horizontally, they have to be pointing in the OPPOSITE direction of the UHF element, or straight up, or tilted slightly forward. Aiming them horizontally in the same direction as the UHF element is impossible. This is only a minor issue, since the reception is so damn good I could aim the VHF elements however I wanted to and still get a clear picture; this isn't even enough of a nuisance to take one star off for. DEFINITELY get this; it's the best indoor antenna you'll ever use.
This is also the only antenna I've ever used that didn't lose signal on every single channel, both UHF and VHF, when someone was using a cell phone. Definitely a good perk.

GE 24775 Quantum Indoor HDTV Antenna
Mediocre, at best. This is one of the only antennas I've seen with ONE VHF element, which isn't exactly a problem in this market since most of our DTV stations are UHF, but don't count on being able to receive more than one VHF station with this setup. You'll find yourself moving the lone bunny ear around a lot if you've got 3-4 VHF stations you want to watch, even when the transmitters for these stations are on the same tower!
The UHF panel design is a gimmick at best, it does help if one station is in a different direction and you only want to aim one panel at it, but the reception for some reason is not consistent. The FIXED LENGTH power and coax cables are the nails in the coffin.
This antenna would be great at , maybe , not the GE is trying to sell it at. For some reason, this antenna is also very limited in how many ways you can aim the VHF element; I'd prefer being able to aim the VHF element in whatever direction I want and have limited range on the UHF element since receiving those signals is much easier.
It did seem to like being placed in as high a location as possible; I'm on the first floor so it's not easy to get it very high up. When held to the ceiling reception did improve greatly, and as soon as I figure out how to staple it to my ceiling I'll find a use for it. Right now it's chugging along fine in the living room.
This antenna is definitely a good choice if you're in a tall building or out in the boonies away from any other buildings. WiFi, microwaves, and cell phones only bother it on certain VHF stations, but it can barely pull those in anyways.

Fantastic - Nothing Else Compares!
This is an excellent HD antenna. It has always been hard to get TV reception in North Phoenix and this antenna got most the main stations right out of the box.

With a little configuration, such as pointing the HD antenna in the correction direction and calibrating the correct signal amplification, you should be able to dial in almost every channel. To get the best possible reception with this antenna, try and position it someplace high inside, free from obstruction.

Since you will probably end up testing a couple different of products before giving up, make sure to give this one a whirl first to avoid as much frustration as possible.

DB4 Multi Directional HDTV Antenna

Antennas Direct DB4 Multi Directional HDTV Antenna

Antennas Direct DB4 Multi Directional HDTV Antenna
Binding: Electronics
Manufacturer: Antennas Direct
Product Description:
The DB4 has become our most popular model because it is simply the best Mid Range HDTV antenna on the market. With an approximate 13.7 dB gain, it is one of the strongest multi-directional antennas available and performs consistently across the entire UHF spectrum. It even works well in areas where HD transmitters are in multiple directions. The bow tie design of the DB4 uses triangular elements instead of rods to greatly increase the bandwidth allowing it to cover the entire UHF band. Additionally, the mesh reflector of the bowtie is more efficient than a rod reflector, is lower in weight, and provides less wind resistance for greater performance and durability. If you are looking for an antenna that is practically guaranteed to perform, the DB4 is one of your safest choices. It will pull in all UHF frequencies and most higher level VHF frequencies with a range of about 55 miles.

Attic installation in Lincoln, NE - Works Very Well
There is a warning in the installation instructions saying that signals would be cut by 40% to 50% by being installed in an attic instead of outdoors. However, this was not a problem for us. We now receive more channels than we hoped for--16, all very strongly.

better than rabbit ears...
received antenna with some elses paperwork including stating being returned due to ordering the wrong model. That freaked me out a little, but antenna was not damaged. I has hoping to have antenna in the attic but after some testing decided it had to be mounted outside to work the best. Antenna does work better than rabbit ears but I don't get the 20 stations like other users, but a did double my stations, so for that I am happy.

Good HDTV Antenna
Brings in a good sharp picture. I have mine mounted in the attic and it works fine. Need to aim it carefully.

Works indoors for me, near RTP, NC
Works great indoors, as research & other recommendations noted.
Skipped buying the stand, since it can sit on the floor or a speaker.

In normal weather conditions, I can leave it pointed East & pickup all local broadcasts (under about 50 mi) without needing to adjust the antenna. This includes stations coming from the West like PBS (UNC-TV). Cloudy/windy/rainy sometimes requires adjustments, but that's expected & acceptable for free HD/DTV.

The setup presently is a Phillips HD-ready TV (CRT style) with a Samsung HDTV tuner. Previously had been using the smallest antenna style from an ATI HDTV Wonder kit, which had trouble maintaining a signal since it was designed for closer towers.

Our home location is near RTP, NC by the mall [.........]

Shipping was fast also; in time for a big weekend football game!

Simple and effective OTA solution
I WAS using a silver sensor amplified unit and dissatisfied with frequent drop-outs and "1/2 power" signal strength on my OTA tuner. I simply removed the silver sensor and plugged-in the DB4 and I immediately had 100% signal strength on all but one local channel, and that one is 75% and works fine too.

My DB4 is hanging on the wall in my garage facing the general direction of our local towers with 20' of RG6 coax running to the tuner. I'm ~10 miles from the towers in Dayton, OH. Now, I want to move the unit to the attic and see if I can pull-in Cincinnati or Columbus (~50 miles). Bottom line: This unit works as advertised!

works well, easy to install
Does the job as promised, easy to install. I don't have anything to compare it against though.

worth every penny
i get about 15 channels with this antenna. the picture on the hi-def channels is crystal clear. don't hesitate to buy this product.

Best TV-top antenna I've ever had
If this antenna doesn't work well for you, then you're just too far from the broadcasting sources for any TV-top antenna. The PHDTV1 (Silver Sensor) is certainly the best antenna for the money (around ) and probably the best period. Seriously, if it doesn't pull in lots of stations for you, then just get cable or satellite, 'cause game over, man, game over.

Will end up in the trash...
I'm unable to receive one major network (NBC) and only receive PBS 1 & 2 intermittently. I live near the center of a major metropolitan area and I've spent much time adjusting the direction of the antennae trying to receive better reception to no avail. I've ordered an Antennas Direct DB2 Multi Directional HDTV Antenna today and expect much better performance.

Pretty good performance where I live
This antenna, while rather cheap looking, works better where I live than the more expensive and nicer-looking RCA ANT1500. Because the signals cover a wide frequency range and come from different directions, no antenna is going to work best for everyone. You may get lucky on the first try, or you may need some trial and error.

As suitable for those living in city apartments as for those in suburban homes, the compact HDTVa lets viewers experience HDTV broadcasts in full resolution. Designed for total reception versatility, the HDTVa's high-gain antenna array can be oriented either horizontally or vertically within its mounting base to achieve optimum capture of off-air broadcasts.

No reception from less tha 6 miles?
I will give fair balance. I have tried EVERY antenna including the TERK.It did not work!
I believe that "Time Warner" has made it difficult purposely to have ANY reception in Northern NYS. (DirecTV has been increasing in numbers) I suggest that you go to the FCC website and check what wattage the stations put out in your area. Our Fox affiliate puts out 2 watts!!! This is ridiculous! ABC and CBS put out 1000 watts but my picture still was not clear? Do some research before you buy. Just a friendly suggestion from a frustrated consumer.

TERK ANTENNA IS SWEET!!!!!
I bought the Terk amplified indoor antenna for my hdtv.
Stations from all around Detroit and Canada were received. I was so impressed I am ordering another one. I rank the TERK amplified hdtv antenna 5 STARS! It is better than what I expected.

Did not work during Digital TV test
I just participated in a test done by my local ABC affiliate (ABC7) and it did not pass the test as accepting and processing digital TV signals!

pretty good antenna
it is a pretty good antenna, can't get every channel out there but i am also about 45miles or so from the cities, so maybe that means something. good pictures quality

Great antenna, FAST shipping!
First off, this item shipped to me 24 hours after I purchased it even using the free shipping. Free overnight shipping is hard to beat!

As far as the quality of the product, I am extremely pleased. It is a little bit bigger than I thought it would be and I had to straighten out the cable to keep it from falling over at first but those are my only complaints.

It is a very painless and easy antenna to set up, and it puts out such an amazingly clear image. Granted, I live in an area that is very close to the towers so I can't vouch for how well it receives long-distance signals but if you know that you don't live out in the middle of nowhere then I think you'll be very pleased with this antenna as well.

Could not connect to HDMI socket on TV
I purchased 2 of these cables to connect my cable box and PS3 to a new LCD TV. I could only connect 1 of these to the HDMI socket on my TV. When I tried to connect the other, it simply would not go into the socket. I tried in all 4 HDMI sockets, both ends and no go. The cable did connect with no issues to the cable box HDMI socket, not sure why it would not connect to the TV HDMI socket. I then went to Best Buy and picked up one of their store brand cables and it went into the socket with no issues.

Worked for me.
I used them to connect a FIOS Motorola HD / DVR, Toshiba HD DVD player HD-A30, and Klipsch Quintet III speakers to Yamaha RX-663BL AV Receiver. They worked fine.

Great value!
A good quality cable at a great price! Don't waste your money on the more expensive Monster cables in the stores.

HDMI cables for a steal
A new computer with HDMI capable LCD monitor had me running to Amazon to get a new HDMI cable and where else would I look? Cables to Go has not failed to provide a great cable with a great price. Every cable I have purchased from them has proven to be good quality with an even better price. Especially when you consider what it would cost at one of the big box stores!! Thanks again Cables to Go, you've got me hooked!!

Solid product, great price
I bought two of these cables--connecting both my DirectTV HD DVR and my XBox 360 to my Samsung LN46A650A (46" 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV). Months later and I've had ZERO problems. Everything looks great. Skip the high-priced cables--these are a great deal.
